Om Jai Jagdeesh Hare...

In this month, called Ashwin, that starts with Navratri, Durga Pooja, Dashera and ends with Diwali celebrations in the Hindu calendar, I would like to present this Aarti, ॐ जय जगदीश हरे...
Some of my friends have joined me. They are Leena Gore, Piya Roy, Debashish Roy, Dhiraj Barla, Bharti Sharma and Leena (Anjaan).
I thank them for honoring my request.

You all sound very nice. Brings some devotional vibration and a very nice selection to start "Navratri"

Love this Aarti and enjoyed listening.

Best wishes for this festive season.

What a great concept ...and sounds so good ...took me back in time to Mumbai ...where we would go to our neighbours house for Ganesh Arti and sing this at the end :-)

Paras,

Excellent group effort! I loved the collaboration and each and everyone's unique entry.

Again, it would be redundant, but not enough, to appreciate your sense of timing to celebrate occasions properly.

Thanks for sharing!

Paras-
If someone asks me to pick 5 best songs off the blog world for 2008, this one would DEFINITELY be one of them. A beautiful collage of different voices, tastefully arranged in variegated bouquet.
The 'bhakti' dripping from each voice was awe-inspiring. You modulated your voice nicely to give the feel of a temple-like environment.
Last, but never the least, the mixing is impeccable.
Your idea is commendable. Please do some more. Loved it!!!

Paras ji thanks for visiting my blog. Am so glad I came to your blog to hear "om jai jagdeesh" just before Diwali. It is really nicely done and mixed so well. A very nice concept and you all have sung very well. I heard quite a few of your songs yesterday and really enjoyed all of them.

Thanks Paras didi for making me a part of this aarti.
Everyone has done a great job and seems like the aarti 'jyot' is being passed to each one of us and we are singing !!
